Like many artists, I have learned the most by working independently. I have a BFA in painting, have attended seminars and workshops, worked in galleries and museums, and taught when necessary. After a long period of uncreativity, I thought I would give landscape painting a try. I thought it would be an easy way to get back in the groove. Well, it has not been easy, but it has been a good way to get the creativity flowing again. It has been a few years since I started landscape painting, and I feel like I am getting better at doing what I am trying to do. I intend for this website to be mostly about those landscape paintings, but I may include some of my sculptures and some of my earlier work that I am still fond of. Maybe.
